Alice's Wonderland is the original and private collection of Dolls, Dolls' Houses, Miniatura, Teddy Bears and soft toys belonging to Margaret Alice Blackwell. They go back to her early childhood and have largely been collected since 1969, when her own dolls' house was redecorated and refurbished. There is something for children of all ages. The earliest exhibit, a creche figure, dates from the 18th century and one of the newest is a 1988 crawling, crying, life-size baby.

There are 24 dolls houses, ranging from 1830 to the modern Lundby, each furnished as far as possible with period furniture. Meet the characters found in the books by Beatrix Potter and Wind in the Willows, the Wombles, and the Sylvanian Creatures. See dolls made of every material, such as wood, wax, china, metal, string, bamboo, straw, hessian and shells.

At Alices Wonderland there are Golliwogs, bears, and soft toys of every kind and size. The smallest is just half an inch high and the largest is child-size.
