Help Cumbria Open For Business Support Local Charities |
Cumbria Open for Business was developed in the wake of the Foot and Mouth epidemic, primarily to provide a cost effective solution for local small businesses or individuals to gain an effective internet presence at a price that was affordable to them. We have all heard about the £2500 - £3500 or more quoted by national and maybe some local companies but in reality these figures are not justified in a local rural economy. We hope we have helped that situation and can continue to do so. |
Having helped over 150 small businesses to progress Cumbria Open for Business are now hoping to help local charities by donating a percentage of every package purchased from our already very reasonably priced services to one of the four charities listed below. |
| STOP PRESS: We will donate on your behalf, the following percentages of the total price paid for these services. to your choice of the local charities listed below.
Please help us, to help you, to help others! |

Eden House Children's Hospice forms an integral part of Eden Valley Hospice and supports children and young people who are expected to die before, or shortly after, reaching adulthood. Through the provision of help at our purpose built building, highly trained staff help the children and their whole family with the clinical and emotional challenges that having a life-limiting or life threatening illness or condition brings, and help them to make the most of life. |

Knoxwood Wildlife Rescue Centre was founded in 1982 by her owner- George Scott, as a small sanctuary for injured birds and wildlife. Since then we have grown into a well known and loved centre of rescue, rehabilitation and release of wild creatures and have established and excellent relationship with local schools, disabled groups, community service providers and adult education/back to work schemes. Knoxwood is located in the heart of Cumbria and deals with the majority of wildlife casualties in the North West of England and South West Scotland. Knoxwood is open to the public under normal circumstances and relies upon donations to keep the sanctuary on it’s feet. |
